  23. Uploaded by the author, Rental Order Tracking System Demo is a DOS based application for use by Equipment Rental Businesses that specialize in, or deal with, contract or long-term rental orders.

  25. The program tracks all the "IN"s and "OUT"s of a rental job that requires multiple deliveries and/or pickups of rental items to and from a job site.

For example, if the D.O.T. needs to improve a section of road, it can bid out the job to a contractor.  The contractor then needs to place barricades, safety cones, arrow boards signs and other safety equipment in place before beginning work.  If the contractor does not keep these items in inventory and does not want to purchase these items he must rent them.  On any day he may rent 50 barricades and 100 cones and an arrow board.  A week later he may need an additional 20 barricades and another arrow board.  The next week he may return 40 of the barricades and pick up an extra 25 cones...so forth and so on...
